Care Program

We strive to provide day to day care for our organizations that provide shelter and safety for these children in need.
“It is hard for people to learn if they are hungry” was what one of our supported organizations told us. The basics in life is where we start. Through our Care Program we can provide these agencies much needed food, vitamins, toiletries, school supplies, girl’s clothing. The shipping companies we use have been 100% reliable with all our shipments arriving intact in 6-8 weeks at their front door. Whether our shipment is sent to the capital city, Manila or to remote villages where the nearest town is 2 hours away by tricycle, bus or the local jeepneys, your donations have made it to their destinations.

Our orphanages are pre-screened, ensuring that all your donations reach the intended recipients. In the Philippines, the agencies we support are either recognized by the government Department of Welfare or monitored by non governmental watchdog organizations.

Our very successful book program, sends used children’s reading books to public elementary schools throughout the Philippines. This unique program partners with the “Sa Aklat Sisikat” a Philippine organization whose purpose is to promote the love of reading. The results are evidenced by the heartwarming letters we receive. Full color children’s reading books in English are difficult to find and in remote villages, they are nearly impossible to find. Teachers tell us that the children are thrilled at the book shipments, actually spending more time at school to read them. By shipping books that were destined for landfill we engage is what we call “educational recycling”. Our largest donation to date has come from the Lakewood Elementary School in Sunnyvale, California where teachers and students have donated thousands of their used books.
