OUR PARTNERS

Our partners and organizations who are recipients of our donations are carefully selected. We ensure that the organizations are monitored through the local Department of Social Welfare or through a local NGO nonprofit watchdog agency. Our partners are chosen to strategically enhance our programs and our supported organizations provide feedback to our donors.

In March, 2009, the Corazon Roxas Foundation and the Emilio Aguinaldo College foundation, the Yaman Lahi Foundation, have recently entered into a 50% grant match partnership. Additionally, the Yaman Lahi Foundation will provide part time employment for our recipient to help her offset travel and living expenses while in school. Our grants are offered to disadvantaged girls wanting a career in a science, medical, technical or engineering profession. We offer our supported organizations the opportunity to apply for these once a year grants.

SA AKLAT SISIKAT

AklatLoto

We provide children’s reading book donations to this Philippine- based organization. We identify children’s books that have outgrown their usefulness in schools, libraries and private homes. Oftentimes these books were destined to be discarded. By sending these books to countries which need it, we engage in an “educational recycling”. These books are treasured and much appreciated by our recipients.

KidsReading

Sa Aklat Sisikat, a Philippine Foundation whose mission is to promote the love and habit of reading in Filipino children in public schools. Our goal is to assist the organization by providing children’s story books to help public school teachers how to teach their children to love reading. To promote reading we promote their love of learning. Teachers from one continent helping teachers in another.

– In February 2009, several hundred pounds of childrens reading books found a home in the Philippine public elementary schools.
– In September 2008, Book donations from teachers and students at the Lakewood Elementary School in Sunnyvale, CA, we shipped over 1500 pounds of childrens books.
